This is our Annual club meeting where a new slate of Board Members will be voted in. Your attendance and participation is important! We will also be raffling a package of bees this month.
Our guest speaker will be Angela Roell of Yard Bards Farm, Montague, MA.
Angela’s presentation/program will be on “Planning for Regenerative Apiary Management in the Northeast.”
Attendees will review and reflect on their last year. Then, create an apiary action plan for the year to come. The plan will include a management calendar and record keeping system that's effective for their apiary and goals. There will also be an open discussion about collaborative apiary management solutions, and how we, as beekeepers can move towards a regenerative system of Northern Beekeeping. This program is targeted for the intermediate and experienced beekeepers, however, beginning beekeepers can use this as an opportunity to meet and work with other beekeepers on thinking about their apiary, goals, and overall beekeeping plan.
